Robert Santopadre, New Orleans area artist, was born in New Orleans, grew up on the Northshore - a suburb of New Orleans. He works primarily in oils, but works in charcoal as well. His oil paintings range in subject matter from New Orleans jazz to Ballerinas to plein air landscapes. He studied art with Armbruster Artworks fine art instruction school in Covington, The New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts with Auseklis Osolos, Phil Sandusky , Carol Peebles and Claude Ellender. His art has been shown in many art events from New York to New Orleans and presently can be seen at Armbruster Artworks gallery in Covington. Robert's work is available by commission.
